My deepest sympathy is with you Nickie and all of your family at this very sad time. I started working with Jim over 32 years ago with Byers Truck and it was always a pleasure working with him. He was a true "gentleman" - always ready to lend a helping hand and always with a big smile on his face. That is how I will always remember Jim. We were all very lucky to have him in our lives for the time we did, and I am sure that he will be very sadly missed by all of his friends and family. Sincerely, Barb Daly

Dear Nickie: Please accept my most sincere condolences in the passing of your beloved husband Jim. He was a long time friend and business associate. We spent many memorable days together at Byers Truck. I will always remember him for his dedication, his kindness and patience with me when I questioned technical issues and for his support of my work for the trade associations HDDC and CTEA over the years. We have lost a considerable volume of hands-on experience in our Industry with his passing. He will surely be missed. These words from 'The Prophet' by Kahlil Gibran may give some comfort in your sorrow: " For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek GOD unencumbered?" May the strength and support of your family and friends help you to cope with your loss in the weeks and seasons to come. With Love Al

Niki and familly, Lorraine and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you, Jeff, Sharri and familly for the lost of a great person. I feel that I should have a double Crown Royal in my hand while I'm writing this. Jim touch all of us during his time and we should take this opportunity to celebrate his contribution. I remember how he fixed Colin's car. Remember the T bird with the strapped bumper and the visegrip shifter. It worked for quit a while..... Another picture is the one where Jim was wearing a 40 ounces of Crown Royal around his neck... The first one the bottle was full and the next one it was empty. Jim had three passions while I had the honor to work with him. The first one was Premier Customer Service. I remember the first time that that we met he told me of an experience that he had with a customer and how he felt that he had let this person down. Well he certainly make sure that this did not happen again and he showed us how important the customer had to be. His second one was golfing. I enviened him that he was able to go so often and also how much fun he had playing. If your game was off he would be the first one to offer advise in order to help. He was that type of a person. His third was horses. I think that he had a special gift when it came to those animals. They certainly felt it and showed their appreciation towards Jim. Today we celebrate Jim's life and forever will remember the giving person that he was. We will always have a little of Jim in all of us. Our door is always open if you or your familly happen to be in the St. Catharines area. Feel free to call at anytime. Stephane will do a little dance for Jim with his chicken legs................

Dear Nickie and Family. My deepest condolences on Jims passing. This is the worst kind of news made even worse because of the season we are supposded to be celebrating. My heart aches for you Nickie as I know all to well what you are going through and how you are feeling. Hold onto the happy rembrences of Jim at this most difficult of times. Let them carry you through. Jim was always such a happy person to be around. Doing whatever he could for anyone who asked for his help. He was missed when he left Dana in Beamsville and I am sure those who he worked with at Parker Hannifin are missing him as well. Take care of yourself and keep smiling. You and Jim were a great partnership. Hopefully if you are ever down this way we can all get together again. Hugs to you and yours. Carson

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I worked with Jim for many years at Dana Canada,i considered Jim to be a friend and not just a colleauge at work and he will be greatly missed. This earth is poorer at the loss of Jim but heaven has just been enriched tremendously. He was a good man, great friend, great coach, good family man and he had many many friends,he is in a much better place now but it was far to soon for him to go. Take comfort in the fact that he is looking down upon you from above and one day you will all be together again.
