Obituary of Martin Maka Dosen

DOSEN, Martin Passed away peacefully on December 15, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Marija (nee Mesic). Loving father to Jure Dosen, Kata and Kevin Holdren, Drago and Cathy Dosen, Ankica and Paul Badour. Dear son to the late Marta and Jure Dosen. Cherished grandfather to Karen, Gregory, Diane, Melissa, George, Zachary, Daniel, Luke, Matthew and Joe. Dear brother to the late Grgo Dosen (2008) and surviving wife Kata, the late Kata Gavran (2006). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Croatia, British Columbia and Ontario. Martin was a retired employee of Windsor Bumper after 20 years of dedicated service. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund or the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation.
