This was a great loss of my brother Bill. This brother of mine was a most compassionite person. Never had an unkind word of anyone. The little old wine maker that made a variety of excellent wines. I had my share of the various types that Bill produced. We drank at the cottage in Northern Ontario and at the home in Windsor. Enjoyed every hour spent at the cottage in Restoule. Fishing playing cards and sailing the Sailboat. He had to pick me up in the middle of the lake when I completely flipped the boat one of ther summers. Their I was in the middle of the lake waving the white flag to rescue me. Took about an hour to drag the boat back to the dock as the mast that is about 25' high was straight down in the water. Bill certainly enjoyed the wine making and the garden he planted every year. What a carpenter. Anything made of wood was a master piece. Built 2 houses. I missed many years with Bill as we had moved from Michigan to Illinois, Pennsylvania. New York and back to Michigan. So it was in the last 15 years I had time to spend with Doris and Bill at the cottage and their house. What a marriage with Doris of some 57 years. They couldn't have been a better match. They loved each other dearly. He lived his life to the fullest. Bill would never throw anything away. Some how he would fix it and the unit he fixed would be running again. He has equipment that is probably 50 years old and is still working. We can be thankful that Bill lived 4 years longer than anyone in the family. This provided the extended time to spend with Bill. A true brother that I will miss dearly. Biil we will meet again.

Dear Aunt Doris, Susan and Debra, We were very, very sorry and saddened to hear about Uncle Bill. I had just spoken to Maryann last Friday and she had told me that Uncle Bill was taken to a hospital in London for surgery. Trish called me this past weekend to tell me that he had passed away. We are truly going to miss him and Rich and I just wanted to let you all know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and we love you very much. Love, Cindy
