Obituary of Evelyn Myrtle Hatchard

HATCHARD- Myrtle (nee Pollard) Born in Lushs Bight Newfoundland. Passed away peacefully on November 22, 2009 in her 82nd year. Reunited with her husband Robert Sr. (2006) with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Loving mother to Nancy Zvric and husband Greg of Windsor; Robert and wife Marianne of London. Cherished grandma to Kali Sak and husband Chris of Windsor; Casey Balmer and husband Matthew of Windsor, Alaina Zvric, Adam Zvric, Matthew Zvric, David Hatchard, and Jessica Hatchard of London. Great-grandmother to Noah Sak. Dear sister to Stan Colbourne and wife Rita of Newfoundland, Jenny Wells and her late husband Calvin of Bancroft, and predeceased by sister Lillian Clark and husband Les, Annie Spracklin and husband Sy, and brother Roderick Colbourne and surviving wife Ruby. Dear sister-in-law to the late Art and Jean Hatchard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Longtime member of First Lutheran Church of Windsor. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Pastor Gilvan de Azevedo officiating. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of Royal Oak Nursing Home, Kingsville for their love and care provided to Mom.
