Obituary of Margaret Hogan
HOGAN, Margaret We are saddened to announce the loss of a devoted sports fan and a proud Irish gal. Our dear Gigi, grandma and mom, Margaret left us on November 17, 2009 at the age of 96 yrs, having recently celebrated her birthday with family and friends. Margaret was a strong and determined woman who made sure she passed on in the way she prayed for, sitting peacefully in her easy chair, watching TV at Extendicare Tecumseh. She is predeceased by her mother Maggie and step-father Bill King and her loving husband Thomas (1997) She is survived by her devoted sons and their wives, Brian and Barbara, and James and Mary Jane (Jaye) of California; her proud grandchildren Colleen (Bob Mitchell), Craig and Julie Hogan, Christine (Dave Suzor), Cathie Hogan, Kevin and Kimberly Hogan, Sean and Christie Hogan and Ryan T. Hogan, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, Dominic. Dear siter-in-law of Leo Larsh. She was an avid 5 pin bowler well into her 80's and a long time Red Cross volunteer. She spent 6 of her last 7 winters with friends at the Oasis in Sebring, Florida. A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Oak Park Terrace and Extendicare Tecumseh. Please join us in celebrating Margaret's life. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayers at 7:30 pm Relatives and friends are requested to meet at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd.) on Saturday November 21, 2009 from 10 am.until time of Funeral Mass at 11 am. Cremation to follow. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Windsor/Essex County Red Cross or to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
