Obituary of Helena Pawlowicz

PAWLOWICZ Helena (nee Kejwan) Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on November 10, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Wasyl (William) Pawlowicz (1963); and Wasyl ( Bill ) Hrynyszyn (1997), predeceased by her infant son Paul (1960). Dear mother of Irene Andriash and husband John of St. Clair Beach Ontario; and Peter Pawlowicz and wife Anne of Windsor. Dear Baba of Noreen and husband Adam Marchand, Ron and Katherine Andriash; and Alaina and Karina Pawlowicz, also survived by many nieces and nephews in the Ukraine. Predeceased by brothers Nikolai, Wasyl and her sister Anne. Mrs. Pawlowicz was a longtime member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, The Zolota Zhoda, The Ukrainian Womens Organization and Ukrainska Khata. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Thursday November 12, 2009 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Panakhyda Thursday at 7:30 pm. The family will receive friends on Friday November 13, 2009 at Sts. Vladimir & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (1505 Langlois at Shepherd) for visitation from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Rt. Rev. Fr. Eugene Halitsky officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, or to the Sts.
