Obituary of Barbara Novosel

NOVOSEL, Barbara (Bara) (nee Grubic) Passed away peacefully on November 8, 2009, with her loving family by her side, at 92 years of age. Dear wife of the late Drago (1961). Much loved mother of Ane and husband Marijan Spelic of Croatia, John and wife Mary Novosel, and Katica and husband Steve Laslavic. Beloved grandmother of Mirjana (Janko), Boris (Natasa) all of Croatia, Johnny (Carmen), Anita (Nik), Lydia (Steve) and Nancy (Dave). She will be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Ivana, Marko, Navia, Olivia and Steven. Barbara was a long time member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church, and was also a member of Drustvo Bosiljevo. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday, November 9, 2009, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, November 11, 2009. at 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund or St. Mate Church Fund in Johi, Croatia.
