Obituary of Earl Milton Charbonneau
CHARBONNEAU Earl Milton Born on December 17, 1924, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at Malden Park Continuing Care Centre, on Saturday October 31, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of 61 years to Stella (nee Wallis). Dear Dad of Richard, Bonnie and husband, Rev. George Rogers; Dennis, Earl Jr., Albert and wife Carol; Robin; and Bill and wife Kelly. Dear Grandpa of Chris, John, Justin, Tara, Erin and Shawn. Dear son of the late Jerry and Rose Charbonneau. Dear brother of Pearl Mifsud and her late husband John, Blanche Boughner and late husband Chet, and predeceased by Ben and Agnes Charbonneau, Tim and Annie Charbonneau, Ulie and Nellie Charbonneau, Alphonse and Olive Charbonneau, Beatrice Renaud and late husband Fred, the late Fred and Vina Eaton, the late Oliver and Marg Cabanaw, and Albert and late wife Marg Wallis. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Mr. Charbonneau was retired from the City of Windsor following many years of service. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of 8 West at Hotel Dieu Hospital, the staff of Windsor Regional Hospital-Western Campus, as well as the Rehab Staff and Social Workers, and to the staff of Palliative Care 3rd Floor at Malden Park for their care, compassion and support during this most difficult time. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Tuesday November 3, 2009 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Graciously officiating will be Earl's son-in-law, the Rev. George Rogers. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
