Obituary of Murray D'arcy Grierson

GRIERSON, Murray D. Passed away suddenly at home on October 30, 2009, at the age of 61 years. Loving husband and best friend of 40 years to Diane. Dear father of Lisa and husband Steve, Lana and husband Tom, Angie and husband Darryl, and second father to Theresa Salonen. Loving grandfather to Kaden, Lily, Jackson, and baby Polychronis. Dear brother of Wade and wife Anna Grierson, and brother-in-law to Barb and Ron Pare, Marcel and Pat Brasseur, Deb and Joe Cordi, Lori and Dino Pellarin, and Rhonda and Doug Bonneau. Special "Uncle Mur" to Michael, Michelle, Leanne, Ronald, Karen, Kim, Krissy, Rachel, Jonny, Chelsea and Jamie. Predeceased by his parents Lyall and Vivian. Murray will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbours, best buddy Frank, and his special pet Chloe. Murray was retired from Chrysler Canada following 30 years of service, and had a passion for spending time on the golf course, helping family and friends, and relaxing to the "blues". He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. The family will receive friends at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East for visitation on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Cremation to follow. A Memorial Service to celebrate Murray's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Murray's memory may be made to Erie Wildlife Rescue Inc.
