Obituary of Concetta Marinacci

MARINACCI, Concetta "Connie" (nee Loreto) Passed away in her 93rd year at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus on Monday, October 26, 2009. Predeceased by her husband Dominic (1949). Daughter of the late John and Maria Loreto. Loving mother to Hector (Betty), Ida (Gino) Fantinato, John (Jane). Special Nona to Dale (Sandy), Todd, Christine (Rick) Marinacci, David Fantinato, Beth-Ann (Marcel) O'Gorman, Melissa (Aaron) Fisk, Kristin (Allen) Egan. Much loved by great-grandchildren Zoe, Liam, Sophia, Blake, Amon and Ella. Dearest sister to Mario Loreto. Predeceased by Mary Paniccia, Rose Carlesso, Arduino, Greg, Harry, Hugo and Sam Loreto. Former member of St. Angela Merici's Christian Mother's Society. Former employee of the Huron Lodge until her retirement. Thank you to the staff at Met Hospital 4 North for the loving care extended to her over the past 7 weeks. Also special thanks to the Senior Day Care Staff at Malden Park. She will always be remembered for her great kindness and generosity and for her tremendous love of Baseball especially the Blue Jays. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers on Thursday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Italian Canadian HandiCapable Association or the Charity of Your Choice.
