Obituary of Larry Charles Ecker

ECKER, Larry Charles “Larryoke” Passed away peacefully on February 25, 2020 at the age of 72 years. Former spouse and friend to Jan Ecker. Loving and supportive dad to Larry and Jana, Karen and Chris Mangham. Beloved Grandpa and Pa to Kayla, Charlie, Bradley and Teddy. Dear brother to Brenda and Ron Zuccato. Predeceased by parents Charlie and Olive Ecker. Devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews, and he will be missed by his many friends. Larry was a retired employee of Union Gas with many years of dedicated service. Larry loved his sports; he was an avid Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings and Windsor Spitfires fan. He was a true karaoke enthusiast who enjoyed singing in the karaoke circuit, especially at the former Giovanni’s on Ouellette. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday February 28, 2020 from 2-5pm and 7pm until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 8pm. Cremation to follow. A Celebration of Larry's life will be announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Larry, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Ontario.
