BIETOLA, Gaetana (Daria) (Nee Solari) It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our wife, mamma and nonna on October 20, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Michele "Mike" for 59 wonderful years. Loving mother to John and his wife Cheryl and Robert and his wife Lori. Nonna will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her grandchildren Melissa, Kelly, Marc, Alysha, Laura and Bryanne who were the love of her life. Nonna to the late Stacey. Dear sister to the late Giuseppe Solari and late wife Rina, Lina Solari and her late husband Angelo Monzani. Dear sister in law to Luigi Bietola and wife Elisa, Vincenzo Bietola and wife Domenica, the late Frank Bietola and late wife Teresa, Lina Bietola and her late husband Raffaele Piatti, Nina and Pietro Landolfi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers on Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or Malden Park Continuing Care Centre would be appreciated by the family.
