Sorry to hear the sad news. Accept our condolences. Mrs. Phaneuf (it just doesn't seem right for me to call her Charlotte) will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. I didn't have many relatives in Canada while growing up next door and she was like a family member. She opened her door to me many times when I was a child. I still remember her providing me with lunches on school days when both my parents were working. I'll also never forget the many times (more than I care to admit) that I somehow locked myself out of the house and had to go knocking on her door asking for our spare key. Even when I'm sure I must have annoyed Mrs. Phaneuf (basketball over the fence and into her garden), she kept her pleasant demeanour. She was truly one of the nicest people I have ever known and will be missed. John, Sue and Family

Dear John, Lori, Andrew and family: We were saddened to hear of Charlotte's passing. We were on our way to Florida when we learned the news and so are unable to be with you at this sad time. Please know that you are all in our prayers. We have wonderful memories of spending Christmases at Jeannie & Tom's with your mom John. She was a lovely lady. God bless you all.
