Dear Shelley and Mike and Dale and Greg and Audrey and all of your wonderful family, We are all so sorry to hear of Uncle Stan's passing. It seems like only yesterday that I had another one of his silly email jokes, sent to brighten my day across the miles! He was such a great guy, being a model of loyalty and devotion in the years that he so lovingly cared for your mum in her long illness, with patience and humour. He was such a great brother to my dad, with his little visits when Dad was in Windsor, and his gifts of his famous banana bread and a friendly joke. Even the last week when my dad was in hospital, it lightened my heart to know that your dad was there checking on him and bringing him support and advice. He really was a special guy.
