Obituary of Salomea aka Sally Hawrish

HAWRISH, Salomea "Sally" Passed away on September 25, 2009 at Extendicare Southwood Lakes at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard Hawrish. Loving mother to Richard Hawrish and wife Lilia and Mary-Beth Hawrish and husband Leonard Lizmore. Cherished grandmother to Larissa Lizmore, Richard W. Hawrish (Ann), Stephanie DeVries (Kevin), Christine Hawrish (deceased 1974), Joanne Lemay (Jason) and Paul Hawrish. Great grandmother to Julianna DeVries, Christina DeVries, Samuel DeVries and Joshua Lemay. Mrs. Hawrish was the first female to graduate from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, September 28. 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachida Monday at 7:30 p.m. Relative and friends will be received for visitation on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at St. Paul the Apostle Orthodox Church (579 Logan Ave.) from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
