Obituary of Pauline Fisavage

FISAVAGE, Pauline January 4, 1921 - September 14, 2009 Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital- Metropolitan Campus on September 14, 2009. Survived by her sister Margaret Evenson, Pearl and Bette Maryniak of Saskatchewan, her nieces Karen, Debbie, Faye, Nancy ( god daughter ), Carole, Paulette & Jane and nephews Harry, Dean, Mitchell, Tim, Mark & Donny and many grand nieces & nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Wasil ( William ) & Elizabeth Fisowich and by her brother John Fisowich, sisters Anne Smith & Mae Taves and nephew Ken Smith, friends Al, Margaret and Ruby. Pauline lived life always on her own terms. She was kind, generous, fun loving and a true and loyal sister and friend. She was a role model to her nieces and nephews of independence & self sufficiency. She was out spoken and loving and will be greatly missed, most especially by the many neighbourhood cats she fed. A private family graveside service has taken place at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favourite Animal Rescue Charity / Society or the Canadian Diabetic Association of Ontario.
