Obituary of Beverly Jane Schneider

SCHNEIDER, Beverly Nee: Parent Passed away at the age of 73 years after a brief illness on September 7, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met. Campus with the comfort and love of her family embracing her. It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of a wife who defined the true meaning of the word, a mother who"s love was unconditional, a loving sister who"s friendship was without compromise and a grandmother who could bring a sparkle to her grandchildren"s eye. Beloved wife to Michael for 56 years. Adored mother of Michele Byrne and husband Kieran, Dr. Kenneth Schneider and wife Charlene, and predeceased by her son Keith (1992). Will be missed by her grandchildren Tammy, Jason, Nicole, Justin, and Sal. Survived by her sister Barbara Hogan and husband Brian. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. During a very difficult time we saw clearly that dignity could be preserved and love from family and friends was immeasurable and could prevail over anything. Bev worked as a volunteer at Windsor Regional Hospital for 9 years with a truly dedicated staff who became best friends. She previously worked at Sears for 22 years. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9, prayers 7pm. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd.) from 10 am until Funeral Mass at 11 am. Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
