ATKIN, Doris May (nee Sanders) October 5,1928 - September 6, 2009 Passed away after a lengthly illness. Survived by her beloved husband, Robert "Bob". Predeceased by her parents, Pearl and Bert Sanders and husbands Doug Hayes (1975) and Bernie Mailloux (1986). Survived by her loving and devoted son, Gerry Hayes and her cherished grandchildren, Stephanie Pemberton (David), Jason Hayes (Jenifer). Dear great-grandmother of Christian, Chloe, Nolan, Autumn, Skylar and Sterling. Mother-in-law of Sylvia. Doris also had an extended family who she dearly loved and cared about, son Bobby Atkin (Jamie) and daughters Cindy D'Amico (Phil) and Wendy Beneteau. Grandchildren Marina, Marc, Dustin, Mike and Monica. Caring sister-in-law, Lorraine Soulliere. Survived by her dear sister June George and brothers Russell Sanders (Kay) and Douglas Sanders. Predeceased by her brother Leonard Sanders and sisters Evelyn Boyce and Gloria Campeau. Doris always wanted to acknowledge her kind friends, Joan, Connie, Jeanette, Sharon, Barbara and Stacy and especially all the wonderful people she met at the Westside Church of Christ. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. Rev.
