Obituary of William James Bendell

BENDELL, William James Passed away peacefully on September 2, 2009 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Sykes). Loving father to Kathleen, Timothy Bendell and wife Victoria, Judy Stow and husband Jim, Nancy Stevens and husband Paul. Cherished grandfather to Nathan and Sarah Bendell and Bendell and Welham Stow. Dear brother to the late Olive Horn and husband Gordon, the late May Hildenbrand and husband Borden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. William retired from Toronto Dominion Bank and served in the Navy during WWII. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, September 7, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Emmanual Baptist Church (5445 Walker Rd.) from 10 a.m. until time of Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
