CORCHIS, George Passed away August 30, 2009, at the age of 73 years. Loving husband of Carol, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Much loved father of Sharon and husband Mike Seslija, Randy and Lerka, Debbie Laselva, Susan Corchis and partner Tim Scott. Proud Papa of Dana, Petar, Stefan, Megan, Erin, Michael, Katie, Joseph, Eligh, Ryland and Owen. George is survived by his brother Bob and wife Barb and sister-in-law Marion Macon. George was a former employee of Windsor Factory Supply and a member of Sutton Creek Golf and Country Club. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday August 31, 2009, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday September 1, 2009, from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Visiting to continue on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral (1960 Tecumseh Rd. E.) from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Brain Injury Association of Windsor/Essex County would be appreciated.
