Obituary of Roland Alphonse Renaud

RENAUD, Roland Alphonse "Rolly" Peacefully on July 15, 2009 at the Windsor Regional Hospital - Metropolitan Campus at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of Olga ( nee Perduk ) sharing 62 years of love and companionship. Loving father of Brian Renaud - Kirkland Lake , ON., Susan Sinclair & Moe Clarke - Windsor, Michelle & husband John Copland- Windsor. Cherished grandpa to Robin, Jodi, Rebekah, Aaron, Zeta and Zayne. Precious great grandpa to Ryan , Ryley, Rhianne, Hadyn and Addisyn. Dear brother of Rita Cedar - Windsor and predeceased by Clement, Abel, and Berneda Nelson. Survived by nieces and nephews. Roland was a member of the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters, Riverside Sportsman Club, Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 578 , the Knights of Columbus (3rd Degree) Council # 9645 and served in WWll with the Navy . VISITATION AT THE WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 TECUMSEH RD EAST ON Friday, July 17, 2009 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. A Veterans Service under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee wiill take place Friday at 3:30 PM. Parish prayers Friday evening at 7:30 PM , followed by K of C, 3rd Degree prayers. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Saturday July 18, 2009 at Most Precious Blood Church ( 1947 Meldrum Rd ) from 10:30 AM until time of funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
