Obituary of Michael Anthony Buxton

BUXTON, Michael "Mick" 61 years. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 1, 2009. Cherished husband of 42 years to Kathleen. Devoted dad to Beverly, Darren ( Denise ), Dean ( Yvette ), and Susan ( Jeff ). Predeceased by son Mark (1973). Predeceased by his parents Eric and Thelma. Precious granddad to Lindsey, Sammantha, Michael, Daniel, Nicole, David, Ryan and Jessica. Great granddad to Malik. Loving brother to Elaine, Cynthia, Philip, with their families. Mick will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, his extended family back home in England , many dear friends and colleagues. He will be missed by loving dog Lexi. Mick retired from GM Transmission on June 1, 2009 after 29.5 years of dedicated service and was a member of CAW Local 1973. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, July 6, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
