Obituary of Francesco Mariani

MARIANI, Francesco Passed away peacefully on June 29, 2009 at Regency Park Lodge at the age of 101 years. Reunited with his late wife Teresa (2002). Loving father of Maria and husband Romolo Gneo,-Windsor, Assunta and husband Vincenzo Lisi -Italy, Giuseppe Mariani and wife Ilde-Windsor. Caro Nonno of Bernie and Rose Gneo, Caterina and Romano Di Cesare, Elsa and Giuseppe Scarapicchia , Gianpiero and Lina Lisi, David and Vanessa Mariani and Philip Mariani. Caro Bis-Nonno of Valeria and Gianluca Scarapicchia, Francesco and Giorgia Lisi, Gabriel Gneo, Cesare and Marilena Di Cesare and Tyus Mariani. Also loved by brothers Giandomenico (1980) and wife Felicia (1991), Pio (2007) and wife Lucia, Giovanni (2005) and wife Nicolina (1995),Luigi (2008) and wife Anna, and sister Teresa and husband Giuseppe Tomasi (1979). Dear brother-in-law of Francesco Mariani and Maria , Vincenzo Mariani (2006) and wife Luiga (2001), Michele Mariani and Rosa, Luisa and Giuseppe, Arani, Anita and Arduino Mariani , Angelo Mariani and Angela, Lucia and late Giuseppe Ignagni, late Arduino Mariani and wife Antoinetta. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services Friday, July 3, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Most Precious Blood Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. p.m. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
