Obituary of Harry Strudwick

STRUDWICK, Harry Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital on June 1, 2009 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of 58 years to Eveline (nee Ireland). Loving father to Stephen Strudwick, Mary Jennings, Wayne Strudwick, Pamela Strudwick, Jean Forster, Ron Little, and Robert Little. Survived by sister Maude Dales. Brother to the late Ethel, Carrie, Winnifred, Herbert and Tom Strudwick. Predeceased by parents Tom Sr. and Mary Strudwick. Harry will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Harry served in WWII with the Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #255. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Veteran's Service under the Auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Committee to take place on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel, followed by a celebration of Harry's Life at 8 p.m. Rev. Bill Bradley officiating. Cremation to follow. A private interment to take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
