Obituary of Amelio Luigi Chiandussi

Born November 30, 1944, passed away fighting a courageous battle with cancer on February 16, 2020 at the age of 75 with his loving family by his side. Survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years Angela (nee Vecchiutti) Sons Peter (Lisa Guido) and David (Melissa Lolarga). Grandchildren Luca, Nico, Ahliya, and Sianna. Predeceased by his parents Pietro (1961) and Antonietta (nee Danelutti 2006). Sister-In-Law Alba (nee Vecchiutti) the late Loredano Bertoli and Niece Isabella and Great Niece Priscilla. Many cousins in Canada, Italy, USA, France, and Argentina. Amelio was a retired Heavy Equipment Mechanic with Prestressed Systems Inc. Member of the Fogolar Furlan Club, past President of Fogolar Men’s Bocciofila. Member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793. Special thank you to the entire staff at Hospice of Windsor for their care. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234, on Tuesday February 18, 2020 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday, February 20, 2020 from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am in the chapel. Procession to Windsor Memorial Gardens to follow.
