Obituary of Anita Cherrie

CHERRIE Anita Dorothy "Tina" (nee Marra). With sadness, we announce the passing of Tina Cherrie, peacefully at home on May 18, 2009. Tina will be missed by Bill, her loving husband of 61 years. Wonderful mother to 6 children, Anne (Bill Janci); Bill (Rosa Amelia Zamorano); Anita (David Saltmarche); Cathy (Frank Maceroni); Pat (Keith Arthur); and Paul (Lori Zimmerman). Tina was greatly loved by her 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Wednesday May 20, 2009 for visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday May 21, 2009 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mount Royal Drive at Cousineau Rd.) for visitation from 9:30 am until time of funeral mass to celebrate Tina's life at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations in Tina's memory may be made to the Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital Dialysis Unit.
