Obituary of Pietrina Palermo

PALERMO, Pietrina (nee Ienna) Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital on March 20, 2009 at the age of 90 years. Reunited with her late husband Antonio (1985). Cherished mother of Pietro and wife Kathy, Vincenzo and wife Maria, and Rocco and companion Sally. Beloved nonna to Tina, Antonio and fianc" Danielle, and Antonio and fianc" Daniela. She will be missed by brother and sister in-laws Pietro and wife Giovanna Benforte, Margherita (late Antonino) Palermo, Pietro and wife Lina Palermo, Maria (late Joe) Palermo, the late Rocco and Calogera Palermo, and the late Franca and Girolamo Cangelosi in Canada. Also by Maria Verde (and the late Tommaso Ienna), and Vita Agosta and (late Giuseppe Ienna) and the late Giuseppa and Francesco DiGirolamo in Italy . Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Onofrio and wife Calogera Ienna, Nicola and wife Antonina Ienna, Francesco and wife Antonietta Ienna, and by sister Caterina and Onofrio DiGirolamo. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 7-9 pm, Sunday March 22, 2009 from 2-5, and 7-9pm with prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service Monday, March 23, 2009 8:45am from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici for Funeral Mass 9:30am. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
