MONIZ, Aurino Passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on February 6, 2009 at the age of of 92 years. Beloved husband of Irene Moniz (nee Tavares) (Nov. 11, 2005). Loving father of Filomena Carvallo and husband Dario, Mario Jorge Moniz, Maria Roy and husband John. Predeceased by his parents Manuel and Conceicao Moniz. Cherished grandfather of Nancy Melo, Teresa Moniz, Helena Moniz and Adam Roy. Dear brother to Noemia Borges, Dorvalina Moniz both of Montreal, and predeceased by 2 brothers and one sister. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and Portugal. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Sunday at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to meet on Monday, February 9, 2009 at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe Street) from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
