Obituary of Jean Ioana Smadu

SMADU, Jean Passed away peacefully on January 28, 2009 at Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Caroline. Survived by her sister Ann Chambers, predeceased by her siblings Mary Smith (Syd), Victoria King (Dick), Helen Clement (Louis), Kay Doolittle, Vicki Jones (Frank), Betty Allsop (Bob), George Smadu. Jean will be missed by niece Nancy Hird and husband Rick, great niece Heather and great nephew Matthew and sister in law Marie Smadu. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, January 30, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
