Obituary of Rina Clara Spadini

SPADINI, Rina (Nee Olivieri) Peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Saturday January 10, 2009 after a lengthy illness, Rina followed the angels to her reward in heaven at 72 years of age. Born in Gagliano Aterno, Italy, beloved daughter of Fernanda (nee Quaglia) and her late husband Pasquale. Loving wife of 55 years to Antonio Franco, dear mother to Pasqualino (Pat) and his wife Shannon (Dykes), Maria Thompson and her husband Rob and Frank Spadini. Cara Nonna to Karla, Laura, Emma, Sarah, Logan and Evan. She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends, the CWL, Pastoral Care Team and those of St. Angela Merici Church whom she supported. She was also a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Giovanni Caboto Club. The family wishes to thank the many family and friends that have supported us as well as the staff of the ICU/CCU at Metropolitan General Hospital. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Monday Jan. 12, 2009, at 7-9pm and Tuesday Jan. 13, 2009, at 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers Tuesday 8:00pm. Funeral Services on Wednesday Jan. 14, 2009, at 10:15am from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for the Funeral Mass at 11am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
