Obituary of Felice Vasto

VASTO, Felice "Felix" Passed away peacefully on January 8, 2009 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Dovilia (2004). Devoted father to Laura Hohe, Oscar Vasto and James Vasto and wife Tanya. Predeceased by parents Libero and Elisa Vasto. Cherished Nonno to Amanda Hohe and Wesley Hohe. Dear brother to Maria Zorzit (Zuilla) and Regina Vasto. Dear brother-in-law to Evaristo Casagrande and wife Olga of Ohio; Anna Ugabini (Casagrande) and husband Ambrosio of Italy, Giovanni Casagrande of Windsor and late wife Elena. Predeceased by brother-in-law Bortolo "Rino" Casagrande and his surviving wife Maria. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada, U.S.A. and Italy. Felix was a proud member of the Giovanni Caboto Club. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday January 12, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
