Obituary of Mariantonia Macera

MACERA, Mariantonia (nee Ferraro) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 29, 2008 at the age of 95 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Alberto (1986). Loving mother of the late Giovanni (1977) and his surviving wife Susie; Adolfo and wife Josephine; Vittorio and wife Nancy; the late Candido (1993); and Angela and husband Mike Notarangelo. Cherished Nonna of 10 Grandchildren and their families; as well as 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to the late Domenico Ferraro; the late Mariacivita and husband Erminio Macera; and Francesca and her late husband Giuseppe DeBellis of New York. Dear sister-in-law to Civita and her late husband Silvestro Macera; and pre-deceased by in-laws Vincenzina Macera; Luigi and wife Laura Macera and Colomba and husband Francesco DeBellis. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Macera was a member of the Ciociaro Club. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Tuesday December 30, 2008 from 2-9 pm. Prayers Tuesday at 8:00 pm. Funeral Services Wednesday December 31, 2008 at 10:15 am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
