Obituary of Sydney Michael Bondy

BONDY, Sydney Michael Passed away peacefully on December 26, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. "The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace." I"ve completed this journey and now moving on to eternal life where Jeremy Daniel and my mother are waiting. Thank you Joyce for the best years of my life filled with love compassion and laughter. Our sons Dylan, Brent and Scott (Melissa), who continually surprised me and have made me a proud and privileged father. Surviving me is my father Sid Sr, my foster mother Donna Bernard (Wilfred 2007) along with my brothers Lenny (Jackie), Dave and sister Shirley (George) and their families. May God Bless my biological family. Also surviving me are my in-laws Karen and John, my pal Cubby and Robin. A proud uncle to Robert, Michael, Candice and Jason and special uncle to Walter, Wesley and Wyatt Slogan. To my grandson Peyton, I love you, and will always be your protector. Sydney retired after 30 years of dedicated service, from the Windsor Essex County Children's Aid Society. Special thanks to Mat Thompson, and my care givers Kelly, Pietro, Lynn, Clinton VON nurses, Sherry, Paula, Linda, Samantha, Hospice, and the many EMS transporters. Thank you to the entire U-Haul crew and to Dom and Norm, I will always be your official GPS. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
