Obituary of Kenneth Robert Johnson "Kenny"

JOHNSON, Kenneth Robert "Ken" 1959-2020 Kenny passed away peacefully on February 10, 2020 at WRH, Metropolitan Campus, after a fierce battle with leukemia. He was surrounded by his loved ones at his bed side, wife Rhonda, sister Barb, brother in-law Harold, brother Roger, sister in-law Sue and Rhonda, sister Val and his sons, James and Bradley. Beloved husband of Rhonda Johnson (nee McNaughton) with whom he celebrated 38 wonderful years of marriage. Cherished father to James (Lauren) and Bradley (Lindsey). Kenny was the proud Papa to his adored grandsons, Noah Daniel Johnson and Daniel James Johnson. He was deeply loved by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Kenny is reunited with his beloved parents, Marguerite and Lloyd, brothers, Danny, Lenny, Ronny, sister Roseanne and his father in-law, Ronald McNaughton (aka as his favorite fishing buddy). Kenny was known for his warm personality, sense of humour, infectious smile and his passion for Elvis and fishing. Kenny had the biggest heart and would do anything for those he loved. His legend will always live on through the memories of those who cherished him. Kenny retired from Chrysler Canada in 2014 after 36 years of dedicated service and he was a member of Unifor Local 444. Rhonda would like to give a special thank you to her two sisters, Gloria and Valerie for being her support and to Roger and Sue Johnson for all of their help. A huge thank you for their support is extended to Barb, Harold, Jeff, Roger, Sue, James, Bradley, Lindsey, Lauren, Gloria, Valerie, Robert and Graciela, Nancy Johnson and Gary, Susie Guadagno, Amedeo Guadagno and Debbie Beedle, Rick Thibert, and Leo Thibert, and to his sister Nancy for coming up to see him one last time. A heartfelt thank you to Kenny's two nurses, Stephanie and Nee at WRH, Metropolitan Campus with whom Kenny loved to joke with and sing Elvis songs to them. Thank you for your amazing care that you provided to Kenny. Also many thanks to nurse practitioner, Kim, for all your assistance. At Kenny's request cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 11am until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel to Celebrate Kenny's life at 12:30pm. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Kenny's life, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation.
