Obituary of James Bailey

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 3, 2025. James was a resident at Southwood Lakes Extendicare since 2012. Thank you to all the staff for their excellent care over the years. James was an active member of the Church of God for many decades. He had no children of his own but was loved by the children at church and was "adopted" as Grandpa by many. He also supported the Smoky Mountain Children's Home in Tennessee. James was a great friend. Someone once wrote this to him. "A friend is someone who understands you, one who is with you and for you, stands by you and forgives you, one who lifts you up and tries not to let you down, and who makes you feel it's a pretty nice old world after all. How would I know so well? Because you have been such a friend to me." He will be dearly missed. As per James' wishes, cremation has taken place with interment to be held at Windsor Memorial Gardens in the spring.
