On December 13th, 2024, at the age of 76, the world lost a remarkable man, a wonderful husband, a loving father and a faithful friend. Duncan was predeceased by his father Hap, mother Maisie, sister Janet and brother Harry.

Duncan will be missed by the Milburn family, sister-in-law Trisha, Kim (Sue), niece Claire, nephew Dustin (Kelly), niece Darian (Mike), and niece Daneal (Adam), sister-in-law Cathy Chase (Dan), nephew Greg (Rachael), brother-in-law Greig Zimmerman, niece Jaime (Jimmy), niece Meighen (James), nephew Shawn McKenzie (Lise) and Laurie Chauvin (Harry's dear friend). Dunc is survived by many cousins and one special Aunt Dolores. ,

Duncan loved being on the water. He was an avid sailor and ran his business "The Ship's Wheel" for over 20 years. He won numerous trophies, flags and awards racing his sailboat alongside his friend Stewart Weber. He left a legacy in the sailing and curling communities. Duncan and Sharon lived their whole married life in St. Clair Beach and Duncan spent over 30 years on St. Clair Beach/Tecumseh Committee of Adjustments. Duncan also took great pride for his Pelee Island cottage that he built himself.

His greatest legacy of all was the love of his family. Married to Sharon for 53 years, after meeting at the age of 18. Unconditional love for his precious daughter Shannon and son-in-law Rich Moy, and his wonderful son Ian and special friend Cheyenne.

A private service has been held by the family with a celebration of life to be held in the New Year. South Port Sailing Club was a big part of Duncan's life.
