Obituary of Maria Faustini

FAUSTINI, Maria (nee Gesuale)

Passed away peacefully at home, with her four loving daughters by her side on December 13, 2024 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Giorgio (1996). Loving mother to Sally Crescenzi (John), Margaret Ruscitti (Salvatore), Lucy Belliveau (Dale) and Tilly Gigliotti. Cherished Nonna to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who adored her. Dear sister to the late John Gesuale (late Michelina), late Guido Gesuale (late Cesina), late Lino Gesuale (Sistina), late Angelo Gesuale (Maria), Piacentina Viselli (late Mario), late Antonio Gesuale and Natalino Gesuale (Sina). Sister-in-law of late Agostino Faustini (late Carmen), late Santino Faustini (late Assunta), Carlo Faustini (Maria) and Domenic Faustini (Rosanne). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Maria was a retiree was from General Motors. She was a long-time member of the Ciociaro Club.  Some of her many joys in life were being at the casino, cooking, dancing, sitting on the front porch and spending time with her family. She will be missed for her great sense of humour.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful people that were involved in her care; Hospice, Saint Elizabeth Home Care, Met Hospital, Dr. Maraj, the team at Guardian Advantage Pharmacy and the PSW’s.

Visitation to be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, Windsor (519-253-7235) on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, for the procession at 9:15 a.m. to St. John Vianney Parish, 385 Dieppe St., Windsor, for the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor or In Honour of the One’s we Love.
