Obituary of Giuseppe Di Nallo

Di NALLO, Giuseppe It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppe Di Nallo on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the age of 88 years. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years Erminia (nee Mazzonna). Loving father of his adoring daughters, Gina (Tony) Veltri and Marisa (Guy) Marchand. He was the world's best Nonno to Olivier, Bianca, Joseph and Angelina. Joe was born in Cassino, Italy and immigrated to Windsor, Canada in December 1949. Giuseppe worked many years at Veteran Plumbing, Sanitary Plumbing and after retirement he often volunteered at his parish St. Angela Merici. Giuseppe will be sadly missed by his many relatives and dear friends. We are truly grateful for all the support and generosity of all our family and friends and to the excellent care given to him by Dr. Kanjeekel, nurse Karla Hodgins, nurse Adriana, Comcare Health Services and all the volunteers and nursing staff at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday December 16, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 8 p.m. Funeral services Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Italian Canadian Handi-Capable Association.
