Obituary of Victoria Young (nee. Radu)

With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Victoria Young (nee. Radu) at the age of 69. Pre deceased by her parents Peter and Elizabeth Radu and her sister Lana Montague. Loving wife and best friend to Jack for over 50 years. Beloved Mom to Jacqueline (Dale), and Courtenay (Steve). Estranged from children Brandon and Channing. Loving grandma to Kevin, Julia, Lucas, Logan, and Lilah. Sister to Georgia Howling, Mike (Anita) Radu, and Diane Brand. Cherished auntie to Mike (Susan), Rob (Ashley), Justin, Jen (Dan), Stephanie (Jose), Melissa (Wesley), and Michael. Vicki’s Princess Elizabeth Public School family of 33 years will forever miss her, she was part of the foundation of the school, her impact will be felt in the school, community and hearts forever. A special thank you to her home nurse Joe, who went above and beyond caring for Mom, and to her PSW Elsa for her excellent care and compassion. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234. on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. George’s Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, (1960 Tecumseh Rd. E.), at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024 until the time of the Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
