Obituary of Assunta Cardillo

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on December 4, 2024, at the age of 57. Beloved daughter of Benedetto and Antonia Cardillo. Predeceased by her Nonno Francesco and Nonna Assunta Cardillo, and Nonno Alberico and Nonna Giovannina Covelli. Dear niece of Maria (Alessandro) of Italy, Giovannina (Angelo) of England, Pasqualina (late Innocenzo) of Windsor, late Alessandra (late Antonio), Assunta (Angelo), and Elisabetta (Michele) all of Italy. She will be missed by many cousins, extended family and friends.

Assunta worked for many years in Human Resources with Chrysler in Canada, Sterling Heights, Michigan and Toledo. She enjoyed travelling, reading, watching movies and her mom’s delicious cooking.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mercy Health - St. Anne’s Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, for all their dedicated care and compassion shown to Assunta.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 9:00 am until the Chapel Service at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
