Obituary of Anthony Edward Ford

Anthony Edward Ford, age 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024 due to a long battle with cancer. Anthony was born on October 1, 1961 in Windsor, Ontario to Charles Thomas Ford and Jane Reid Ford. Beloved husband and best friend of Darlene. Father of Charles, William, David and wife Chantell, and Carter. Grandfather to Hayden, Natalie, Liam, Oliver, and Ayrie. Brother to John (Gail), Paul (Elaine), Brian (Linda), Tom (Kelly), Cathy (John). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tony was a faithful servant of his Lord and Saviour. His passion was to help those who were lost and needed helping hands. Tony’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County for their wonderful care and compassion. Donations in Tony’s memory can be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E (519-253-7234). A funeral service will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
