Obituary of Louise Williams (nee Raffoul)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Louise Williams. She passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024 at the age of 75. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Louise will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her cherished children, André Laba, Jessie Laba, Sheri Dudley (Chad), Kathleen Williams, and her adored grandchildren Amber, Luke, Leila, Siarah, Naveah, Roman, and Raiden. Louise was predeceased by the love of her life, Tom Laba, her loving parents, Bakhous and Milia Raffoul, and her late sister Rosemary Kuli (Tim). She is survived by her siblings Susan Georges (Tony), Sam Raffoul (Lina), Louie Raffoul (Lisa), Ava Bos (Roy), and Diane DiMenna (Dave), along with many nieces and nephews who brought her joy. 

Louise was a woman of deep unwavering faith, a Godly soul who cherished her relationship with the Lord. Known for her kindness and compassion, she lived a quiet and humble life. Her home was her sanctuary, a place where she found joy in gardening and preparing delicious Lebanese cuisine that brought her family together. She loved yard sales and the thrill of finding unique antique treasures. She was a gifted hairdresser and she used her talents to bring beauty and joy to those around her. Her sense of humour brought laughter to those who knew her. Her humility, faith and love for people left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy is one of simplicity, kindness and devotion to God. She will forever be remembered as a woman of faith, a loving soul whose lives she touched. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Louise's life on Sunday December 8, 2024, at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with prayers at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at St. Charbel Parish, 5700 Outer Drive, Windsor Ontario, with visitation at the church at 9:00 AM and mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, 5005 Howard Ave.
