Obituary of Liliana Pomponio

POMPONIO, Liliana Santina Passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 21, 2024 at the age of 72. Reunited in heaven with her loving husband Umberto with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage with. Beloved mother to Lisa (Joe) Reia. Cherished Nonna to Zachary, Ryan and Kaylee. Predeceased by parents Romolo and Anna Maria Zeppa and in laws Pietro and Gaetana Pomponio Dear sister to late Onorio, and late Giuseppe. Sister in law to late Domenico (Maria), late Eduardo (Stella), Theresa (late Marino), late Luigi (Maria), late Angelo (Anna), Antoinetta (late Marino), late Michele (Michelina), late Remo (Nancy), Assunta (Rosato) and Aldina (Antonio). Lilliana will be greatly missed by extended family, nieces, nephews. Liliana was an avid knitter along with crochet. She was well known for her tasty foods; from her pasta, sauces and breads. We cannot remember a time that she was not right by our side. She was never away to miss a moment of her grandchildren’s lives and any of their sporting events. She was devoted to her family and caring for her husband Umberto. Liliana had a kind heart and would go the extra mile to help anyone, she would never hesitate to help. Special thank-you to Windsor Regional Hospital - 5th Floor. Your care and compassion for our mother was unforgettable. In Liliana’s honour, memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B). The compassion care cart was a delight to our family. In Liliana’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm to 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Parish prayers with Fr.
