Obituary of George Haidar

Haider-George , 81, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024.

George was the beloved husband of Nouhad Haidar and the proud father of Bassam Haidar. He was predeceased by his sons, Roger (2007) and Milad (2019), whose memories he cherished deeply.

George was a devoted family man whose kindness, wisdom, and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He worked tirelessly throughout his life, providing for his family and earning the respect of his community. His love for his wife, children was unwavering, and his legacy will live on through their lives.

In addition to his immediate family, George leaves behind many cherished friends, and relatives, who will remember him for his strength, compassion, and sense of humor.

On Monday November 18, 2024 friends are invited to join the family 10:45a.m. at St. Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox Church, (1808 Labelle St.) for funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
