Obituary of Doris Roback

Doris Roback (nee Carpiuk)

Doris passed peacefully with her daughter by her side on November 11, 2024 at the age of 94.  Predeceased by her loving husband, William (2009).  A wonderful devoted mother to Susan Roback (Brian Donlevy) and Debra Fraser (Christopher).  Loving grandmother of Tara (2001), Robert (2024), Katelyn (Graham Harker) and Heather.  Great grandmother to Gemma Harker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Michael and Ksenia Carpiuk and her brother George (2023) (Joyce). Doris and Bill loved to travel, going to parties, playing cards with their many, many friends, spending time at their cottage in Restoule and going to the Casino and Windsor Racetrack. Doris made many friends at Sts Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church and enjoyed meeting them every week for coffee after mass.  She is now at rest with William whom she missed so dearly. 

Visitation will be held at Sts Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, 601 Lake Trail Drive, Windsor, Ont on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation to follow.  Donations can be made to Sts Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church – Dome Fund.
