Obituary of Khina Maya Acharya

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Khina Maya Acharya, a beloved resident of Windsor, Ontario. Khina, aged 89, peacefully departed this world on November 9, 2024. Born on January 1, 1935 in Bhutan, she lived a life full of kindness, generosity, and love.

She leaves behind her Five Sons, Six Daughters, 32 Grandchildren and 38 Great Grandchildren. Khina was known for her unwavering dedication to helping others and her infectious laughter that could brighten anyone's day. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and cherished in our hearts.

Please join us at her funeral on November 13 at 11:30 AM. Her rituals would be observed for 13 days from the date of her passing in accordance to Hindu tradition. The families gather together on the 13th day, November 21, 2024 when she is believed to have attained mokshya/nirvana.
