Obituary of Rachela Bucek

In the heaviest of hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Rachela Anna Bucek who passed away at the Hospice of Windsor after a courageous battle of breast cancer at the age of 47.

Rachela was the best friend and loving wife of George Bucek.

Best mom in the world to her precious Luke and Alessia.

Dear sister of Danilo (Silvia) Angelo, Giovanna Angelo, John Angelo (Christina Pierce), Jerry (Toni) Angelo, Mary Jo (Fred) Beaufait, and step sister Christine (Mark) VanWort.

Sister in law of Clay (Melanie) Bucek.

Daughter of the late Vito Angelo (Maria Intagliata) and daughter in law of Miroslava Bucek-Skladanowski (Miroslaw).

Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Rachela was a very compassionate individual who always put everyone before herself. She loved baking, cooking and had a contagious bright smile in everything she did. She was a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse with a wonderful bedside manner, bubbly personality. She was nominated by her patients several times and was the recipient of the Daisy Award. She always put others before herself.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. in Windsor on Friday October 25, 2024 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Parish prayers at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday October 26 at 11:00am at Good Shepherd Parish with an interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Donations made in memory to Rachela to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
