Obituary of Marilyn Beuglet

Passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side at the age of 88, on October 19, 2024. Beloved wife of Dr. Gerard “Gerry” Beuglet (2015). Very proud mother of Suzanne (Dr. Greg St. Louis), Marc (Kaoru), late Matthew (1965), Michelle (Colin Lightbody) and Chris Beuglet (Janice). Loving and adoring grandma to Ryan (Dr. Erin), Dr. Andrew (Dr. Rachell), Dr. Tyler (Tia), Zach, Jaden, Lexie, Lauren, Owen, Joel and Luke. Predeceased by her parents William (1940) and Rose Mae (1991). Dear sister of William “Bill” (1997) (Norma, 2023), Robert “Bob” (1989), Arlene Appleman (Norm, 2022). Daughter- in-law to Dr. Ernest (1983) and Marie (1990). Sister-in-law to Jeanne Ryan (Jack, 2001), Charles (2022) (Dr. Cathy Cole, 1987) and Mariette Forberg (2022) (Chuck). She was a long-time volunteer at Hospice and many other organizations. She took great interest in all of the grandchildren’s academics, activities and adventures. She spent countless hours at the arena watching hockey and always had a special dessert for each of their birthdays (she was known for her famous strawberry dessert). We would like to thank the team of doctors, nurses and Palliative care staff at HDGH Emara Building. The family would also like to thank Dr. Andrea Steen for years of care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor, the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or charity of choice.
