Obituary of Gordon Ridgewell

Gordon Ridgewell

December 7th, 1944 - October 21st, 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear dad, grandpa/papa, and great grandpa on Monday Oct 21/24 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 79.

Much loved husband of 58 years to the late Shirley Ridgewell (2021).

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Sherry Terpstra (Clarence) and Joe Ridgewell.

Wonderful grandpa to Breanne (Troy), the late Brittney (2024) Cory. Adored papa to Kurt and wonderful great grandpa to Grayson and Camden.

Pre-deceased by his brothers, Donald, Leonard, Leon (Kenny),Gary and Philip and sister Kathy.

Lovingly remembered by his sisters, Donna, Judy, Dorothy, Patsy, Alma and brother Lyle, and their spouses.

He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews. His in -laws

The late Joan and Jack Fenton, Linda Mills and the late Woody Mills (2024), Aaron and Pam Lewenza and the late Mark Lewenza.

Gord is pre-deceased by his parents Leonard and Leta Ridgewell.

Gord enjoyed golfing (until he could no longer) and going for breakfast with his best friend Pete MacDonald, and playing bingo with his good friend Eli.

As per Gords wishes, cremation will take place following a private family visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
