Obituary of Pietrino Salaris

Passed away with his loving family by his side on October 20th, 2024 at the age of 93.

Loving husband to Maria for 56 years.

Loving father to Giovanni and Mike and loving father in law to Colleen Salaris.

Pietrino loved spending time with his late grand dog Bella who he loved very much.

He worked for Chrysler for over 24 years and was a proud member of the CAW Unifor local 444.

He was a very avid gardener who loved spending most of the day working in his greenhouse, working on fruit trees, vegetable gardens, berry bushes and plants. He loved picking fresh fruit right off the branches and sampling.

He loved making homemade wine using fresh grapes and sharing his wine with friends.

He will be greatly missed by many family and friends not only in Windsor but also in Italy and Toronto.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on 7 West as well as the doctors and nurses from the critical care unit at the WRH Ouellette Campus for their excellent care and compassion they provided.
